Down amongst the trees in the garden of the Buddhapadipa Thai Temple, Wimbledon, London sits this wonderful hand carved Buddha. A corner of early spring calm surrounded by the hubub & turmoil of the capital city.

I was just wandering back from lunch at our local when spotted these Scarlet elf cup’s in the hedgerow. Extraordinary colour on such a grey day, at first I thought they were bits of plastic! Will return to photograph them again soon.

S’funny but as soon as I saw this through the viewfinder I just knew it had to be converted to B&W. Don’t know exactly why, but it just did. The light in the trees is what floats my boat in this one.
