My Right Eye

Lab In The Garden

Not so long ago high speed photography was more likely to be found in a University Lab than a back garden but thanks to the lovely people at Casio, of all places, you can now have a little bit of high science on your picnic table. The Exilim EX-F1 can shoot a 60fps burst of still images & video up to a whopping great 1200fps. This is only the first day I’ve been able to have a play with one but even the obvious pebble in a bowl of water yields cracking results. Hopefully even more glimpses into the ‘Blink & you’ll miss it’ world soon.

What’s it all about Alfie?

Well...now, there's a question. Well I'll tell you what it's NOT about. It's not rocket science or theological preaching & it's certainly not political in any sense. It's not an answer to any question just a view of the world through my right eye. That's all.
